*Bright And Shiny* Wet N' Wild Mega Rocks

Creative Control,Slap the Bass,Jam Session,Gettin' Amped

                                                  Wet N' Wild Mega Rocks
I found some very cute and extremely inexpensive jewel-tone glitter polishes at the drugstore. They are by Wet N' Wild and these particular polishes are all from the "Mega Rocks" collection.  As the label "Mega Rocks" should suggest, these polishes all have decently sized chunks of glitter floating throughout each bottle.  Although I only bought the four colors that I found most suited my personal preference, there are a total of nine different colors available from this particular collection. I picked up "Creative control", "Jam Session", "Getting Amped", and "Slap the Bass". I almost caved and bought "Always In the Pit" (a red glitter polish) as well, but decided against it as the red color was not as deep in the bigger chunks of glitter as I would have liked.

Gettin' Amped,Creative Control,Slap the Bass, Jam Session
Gettin' Amped: This one is full of small black and silver hex chunks mixed with some big silver hex chunks...It looks alright over black nailpolish but you will only be able to see the silver sparkles with that method(obviously). Still, it looks very pretty. At somepoint in the future I will try this on white or a light grey nailpolish for contrast so that I will be able to see the black sparkles as well.

Creative control:Big chunks of a baby(light) hot pink hex glitters with smaller specks of magenta(deep)hot pink hex glitters mixed in.

Slap The Bass: A very pretty teal hex glitter with all the glitters in the same color. The only variation with this bottle is in the size of the pieces.

Jam Session: This one is larger dark purple hex-chunks mixed with smaller lilac hex-chunks...You won't really notice the color difference between the two when it's on your fingers but the variation in Jam Session (and in Creative Control as well) makes a big difference with the sparkle factor when the light hits each piece of glitter.

Pros:
+These were really, really inexpensive while also being very pretty...Normally they retail for 2.99 but all of them had $1dollar off stickers attached to them so they ended up being $1.99 a piece, and I like them so much that I have already ended up using them a few times. I still have several other combinations I want to try out as well.
+They look cute as an accent over many different colored bases and the amount of combinations you can use them with is pretty much limitless... I tried "Slap the Bass" over one of my other favorite nailpolishes by Wet N' Wild which is called "Sea Change" (a blackish teal colored polish). The teal glitters over the darker teal base is a very pretty combination :)

Cons...
-These are glitters floating in a clear base...they will not cover your nails well all by themselves( it would take alot of coats to completely cover your nail). If you are looking for a glitter nailpolish that you can use by itself...this isn't really the one for you.
-If you are not a fan of glitter, obviously this is not the best choice for you either.
-The finish of the clear nailpolish used as a base is not as shiny as a good clear top coat.  I personally felt the need to use a good topcoat over everything when I was finished.
-These came off decently easy for a glitter polish compared to some I have tried, but some of the glitters were still sticking to my nails for dear life when I was done with the remover and i had to use quite a bit of effort to get them off completely.
Until next time <3
